Art Clocks

Our Art clocks can be painted on hardboard or use magazines and Comics to creative affect. Check out the Projects section for examples.

Comics, Advertising, Vintage Manuals, we make clocks out of almost anything, let us know if you want to comission anything special.

Vintage Clocks

We refurbish (not restore) Vintage clocks so they keep their age. Mainly concentrating on 240v AC 50Hz Electric clocks that we either convert to Extra Low Voltage (below 36v AC) for daily use or Refurbish but sell on as 'not for use' if they are historically significant.

We won't sell on anything that is 240v AC and dangerous - See below for details. Safety is number one!

Repairs and Rewinds

We can test and repair your electric and/or vintage clock - It's not our main business but we can always provide a quote, just drop us an email.

We can convert 240v AC clocks to low voltage clocks, just ask us for a quote.

Some examples of our work

We have varied work from Vintage to Modern and also Art clocks.

All are one off designs and incorporate refurbishments for the Vintage clocks and modern movements for the Art clocks.

Dark Angels B-17.jpgNOT QUITE A CLOCK YET BUT THESE CAN BE FITTED WITH MSF RADIO CONTROLLED MOVEMENTS OR STANDARD QUARTZ AND THEY COME WITH A TAILOR MADE DISPLAY STAND THAT HELPS SHOW OFF THE CLOCK AND HELP YOU TELL THE TIME WHILE KEEPING IT SAFE.
DAN DARE COMICS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN POPULAR BUT THIS UK WRITER HAD A GREAT CAREER ALSO WITH ROY OF THE ROVERS WITH WHICH HE WAS MOST FAMOUS.
UNFORTUNATELY, TOM TULLEY PASSED AWAY IN 2013

dandare001r.jpgMike Dorey, the artist on this Black Tiger Computer Warrior story was probably most famous for turning down the opportunity to be the first artist on Judge Dredd!
He also did some work under the pseudonym J. Clough.
He worked for DC THompson, IPC and 2000AD with many other contracts to his name (or psuedonym)
See his entry on Comic Vine: COMIC VINE LINK (CLICK TO GO)

Beano 2650 A.jpgWho doesn't love a Beano?

In this one we cut out the dead space on the cover to expose the genuine second page of the comic underneath.

Look out for the other comics we have that are composite of parts of the whole issue.

Any Beano reader will know that you flip to the back page to complete the story, that's exactly what we do here with the true back page there for you to read.

These look great with the red straight hands, it suits the comics style.
